Neddra's Influence, Channels, and Ignite question

Neddra's Influence is supposed to increase death and fire based damage over time spells.

1. Is Withering Flames, which channels fire damage over time affected by this?
2. Is ignite, a fire damage over time effect that can occur from fireballs, amplified by this?
3. Is Fire Storm, an AOE channel for damage over time, affected by this?

Going 13 Warlock for 3/3 Neddra's Influence would add around 35% fire damage over time.

I reset my souls and held back applying points to Neddra's Influence. I then tested on a target dummy damage. I then applied points to Neddra's Influence and checked damage on the target dummy. Findings

1. Insta cast damage over time spells like Ignite from Elementalist is increased by Neddra's Influence as expected. I would also expect Searing Vitality from Archon, and Burning Ground from Elementalist to be enhanced.

2. Channels like Fire Storm and Withering Flames are not enhanced by Neddra's Influence. This is sad. Even though the decription reads fire damage over time, the channels are not considered DoTs.

3. Fireball and Withering Flames proc the same side effect, "Combust". Combust is not improved by Neddra's Influence.

So-
Pyromancer- 0 spells affected
Archon- 1 spell affected
Elementalist- 2 spells affected

Neddra's Influence does increase the Combust damage. Since Withering Flames stacks Combust it'd be kind of redundant if it increase Withering Flames and Combust. It also increases Countdown.

That is strange because my per tic damage did not go up. Did you check this? I hope you are right.
