    Warrior tank build (Paladin Reaver Warlord)

    Heres my warrior tank build

    http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=1c...gRussisdrz.x0o

    I went for Reaver for aoe disease spreading.

    Paladin for shield bonus's and group bonus.

    I went warlord for even more bonus to armor and blocking.

    ================================================== ==============
    Main Reaver Bonus
    1.Crest of the Abyss
    Allows me to aoe tank more effectively by gaining armor from multiple attacks

    2. Gift of the Reaver = 2.76% Health bonus which doesn't hurt

    3. Power of blood
    Basically a o shit passive you can take embrace for more aoe tps

    ================================================== ==============
    Main Warlord Bonus
    1.Gift of the Warlord 2.76% Health bonus

    2.Battlefield Distraction 5% hit chance

    3.Empowering Strike for its armor bonus

    ================================================== ==============
    Main Paladin Bonus
    1. Eh I'm too lazy to type it all out figure it out paladins are just sexy

    Any thoughts on Reaver main tanks? I only got in for the final open beta and the end of the next to last, so I was limited to only getting up into the mid-30s, so my perspective is a bit limited by that. But, from what I saw, I'm really liking Reaver as my main soul for the self-healing and what seems to be great aoe threat. One of my biggest banes in other games tanking has been mitigating spell damage and keeping myself alive during boss fights that caused a lot of healer stress with periods of massive CC, widespread group/raid damage, or intense movement phases. The Reaver's self-healing from Master of the Abyss and DoTs seems to go a long way, at least so far, in reducing stress on healers. A fairly even spread of Paladin for the increased blocking ability and damage reductions and Void Knight for the spell damage reduction and armor bonuses from Ravenous Defense coupled with Crest of the Abyss/Crest Mastery seem like a combination that will work well in almost any tanking situation, whether it be single-target, aoe, melee, or spellcasting mobs. The only fault I can see might be at higher levels, where losing some of my high-end spec abilities might prevent me from holding threat, but I haven't reached those levels yet to see if it does or not. My intended final build is going to look at least largely like this... http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=0chAg.g0Rkcom.xzqdukkR0z.tczau">Paladin (20) / Reaver (27) / Void Knight (19)</a> Any thoughts?

    I'm going for Reaver / Paladin / Warlord (44-22-0)

    You still have the opportunity to change roles, so you're going to have several different builds

    e.g.
    - AE tanking
    - max mitigation
    - max HP
    - max tps
    - single target tps

    Need more roles ! what about pvp and off specs? xD
