    PVE Druid DPS/HEALING raid Spec

    ruid (31) / Shaman (24) / Justicar (11) http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00...z.Ex00t0c.xuzo

(( ** yes some of this information is copied from RIFT JUNKIES ** ))
    http://www.riftjunkies.com/forums/sh...-Raiding-buils
Sorry for the blatent copy/paste and thankyou for whoever got this information together.

    The Build

    Druid (31) / Shaman (24) / Justicar (11) http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00...z.Ex00t0c.xuzo

    Why?

31 Points in druid to take the Satyr Pet, 24 points into Shaman to take Jolt, and 30% extra damage after a crit, 11 points into Justicar for aoe raid healing and surivability.

    Stats & Gearing:

    Stat Weights:

** All Cleric stats should be universal between Souls due to the 0pt ability, "Faith in Action" which is shared by the Druid, Shaman, and Justicar Souls. **

    1 Wis = .75 SP
    1 Wis = .33/10sec Mana Regen
    1 Int = .25 SP
    1 Int = 1 Crit Rating
    1 Int = 10 Mana
1 Crit Rating = .038% Chance to Crit
1 Focus = .10% Chance to Hit the Target. (200 Focus is needed to Hit a level 52 Target)

    Priority Focus>Int>Wisdom.

Ability priority break down & Rotation

Combined Effort - 15 sec c/d - Large hit, with 15 second buff 50% of AP + SP of the Clerics pet.

Eruption of Life - 9 sec c/d - Medium Hit with Dot that increases damage done by 60 of next three melee attacks.

Lightning Hammer - 6 sec c/d - Medium Hit with 6 Second Dot for moderate damage. (can have 100% uptime of this.)

Fervent Strike - No Cooldown - Smallest Hit with 30% chance to make your pet's next attack be a critical. (lowest priority in this build)
    or
Strike of Judgement - No Cooldown - Medium Hit that generates 1 conviction, Is buffed by the justicar talents and also heals for 25% of damage done.

Bolt of Radiance - 8 sec c/d - Small hit 30 meter range that builds 1 conviction.

Bombard - 6 sec c/d - medium hit 30 meter range buffed by druid talents.

    Reactive Abilities.

Fated Blow - Instant cast off global Cooldown - High Damage - Only usable after the clerics attack has been dodged or parried.

Glory of the Chosen - Instant cast off global Cooldown - Heal - Usable after being Crit. (free heal is fantastic after being crit!)

Jolt - Instant cast off global cooldown - High Damage - Usable after a critcal strike.

    Rotation

Rotation is a priority based rotation.

Reactive Abilities > Combined Effort > Eruption of Life > Lightning Hammer > Fervant Strike or Stirke of Judgement

in a 1 minute parse you will have roughly

    4 x Combined Effort
    6.6666 x Eruption of Life
    10 x Lightning Hammer
    ~11 x Fervant Strike

    Based on this http://www.klintz.com/60seconds.xlsx

    DPS Tests

    Self Buffs

Rage of the fae - Increases clerics healing and damage by 100% for 15 seconds 3 min c/d
Mien of Honor - 50% threat reduction. I cannot stress how amazing for melee dps this is.
Cavalier - Life-Based attacks create convictions - Eruption of Life and Strike of Judgement can be used to create convictions.

2 Mana back abilities on 1min c/d (can be used at the same time to be bought from 0% to 100% mana in under 10 seconds.)

Ageless Ice - restores 10% mana for each sucessful melee attack for 10 seconds
Fae Hammer - restores 10% mana for each sucessful melee attack for 10 seconds

    Group Buffs

Satyr Pet - 15% attack power to nearby members.
Natural Dedication - 5% increased damage to entire party/raid for 30 seconds on 2min c/d
Heart of the Frozen Sea - Air and Water resist for entire party/raid by 30.

One of the following for whole party/raid:
Courage of the Jaguar - 40 dex buff
Courage of the Bear - 40 str buff
Courage of the Eagle - 40 wis buff

    Raid Healing
Reperation - Every Cleric attakc heals up to 10 nearby party and raid members for 25% of Justicar abilities and 10% of all other damage done. (all our druid attacks fall into the 10% category)
Doctrine of Loyalty - Uses convictions - Heals up to 10 nearby party or raid members for health uses 1 convinction per cast. (In my average blue gear this hits for 500 and crits for 1000 to 10 raid members at once. AMAZING!)

    Play Style

Do not expect to top DPS meters with this spec, however you can be the absolute most viable member to the melee dps. You will out heal most of the healers and you will do more damage than the tanks. You also have unlimited mana and have amazing survival.

Start of the fight I run in with Bolt of Radiance to generate 1 Conviction on the pull. (50% threat reduction helps here)

    Follow the rotation:

Reactive Abilities > Combined Effort > Eruption of Life > Lightning Hammer > Fervant Strike or Stirke of Judgement

When your melee dps takes AOE damage use Doctrine of Loyalty to aoe heal for as many convictions you have.

Go back to your rotation or build your convictions with Strike of Judgement and continue to use Doctrine of Loyalty to aoe heal.

For fights that require you to run away from the boss because of Personal AE or cleave/tail swipe while running away use Bolt of Radiance and press CTRL-2 to make your pet follow you, also for fights that require you to run in and out alot, on the way out, use Doctrine of Loyalty to AOE heal.

Bombard can also be used at range because you have the ability that increases the damage by 25%.

Always keep your pet alive. 8 second recast is very very painful. Always use Doctrine of Loyalty to keep your pet alive as priority.

    Macros Macros Macros!

Some people say that macros are a very lazy way to play. I however believe if the game will allow you to keep a perfect DPS rotation with macros then why not?

Copy/paste these to new macros to test them out, they work fantastic.

Druid Melee Spam: (petattack not tested)

    petattack
    cast Jolt
    cast Fated Blow
    cast Glory of the Chosen
    cast Combined Effort
    cast Eruption of Life
    cast Lightning Hammer
    cast Fervant Strike

Druid Ranged Spam: (Spam while running away from AE to save your pet)

    petfollow
    cast Bolt of Radiance
    cast Bombard
    cast Doctrine of Loyalty

    --- Work in progress ---

wouldn't it be more beneficial to get the reduced aoe damage done to your pet? going 4/5 spirit of the wood you could have your pet get 45% less aoe damage, for the rest using same build. but you are saying your bombard is a medium hit? for me its the hardest hitting ability (total of eruption of life and lightning hammer might be higher) so leaving this out of your rotation makes me wonder.

No. Wisdom is still the best stat.

I'd have to say no. You would still need a main healer but you will be aiding them in keeping the group up, much like a Bard does.
