Terror of Undeath is a Death Raid Rift that can be completed in Stillmoor. It requires at least two geared tanks and the healing and dps to support them. To open this raid rift a raid lure must be used. You can purchase this lure from your faction’s Rift Vendor which is located in your capitol city. You must have the appropriate notoriety to do so. Lacking that, you can combine 10 Corrupted Souls with a Husk to create a Raid Lure.
Stage 1: Defeat Dark Cabalists 0/4
The first stage is quite easy. You should have two tanks, but you could use a third here if you would like. You’ll have four packs of mobs, one for each Cabalist who is accompanied by two constructs. Have one tank take on a construct and the Cabalist, or if you’re using three tanks, have each mob split up. Focus down the Constructs then finish up the Cabalist. The Constructs cleave so watch your positioning.
Stage 2: Redirect the Nether Generators 0/4 – Defeat the Dark Attendants 0/4
The next stage is tricky, the tank must interact with each Generator as they engage the Attendant. Interacting the generator gives the tank a buff allowing him to tank without dying. The easiest way to do this is to approach the generator directly opposite of the Attendant so the tank is approach out of line of sight. Watch the cleave. Do this four times.
Stage 3: Defeat the Flesh Terror
In Stage 3 a Flesh Terror will spawn. This fight is a tank and spank fight but you have to be careful. Each time you kill the boss he will split in half and explode. The initial terror splits into two smaller terrors. These should be pulled away from each other. Focus on one terror and then all the of adds he spawns. Then move over to the other larger terror and repeat.
The key to this fight is not to use AOE abilities. Pick a main assist for the raid and assist that person throughout this stage. Killing multiple adds at once can potentially kill your raid. The explosions do around 2000-2500 damage.
Bonus Stage 1: Defeat Death Wisps 0/8
The first bonus stage is a hassle. Eight Death Wisps will spawn and a tank will need to pull them back individually. The reason why this fight is a hassle is because they charge the person who has threat on them and does AOE damage. They also cleave. The best strategy is to kill them individually and make sure you can see which way they are facing. If you are unsure, attack from range.
Bonus Stage 2: Defeat Luthas Darkblade
The final stage of Terror of Undeath has you go up against Luthas Darkblade. The fight is pretty simple. You will have two tanks, one on Luthas and one for the adds. Luthas is a tank and spank fight (watch the cleave) that puts a debuff on the tank so keep an eye on the tank’s health. The other tank has the job of pulling two types of adds from the boss and the raid. The first add provides an immunity buff for Luthas. The second explodes doing massive damage to those around him. So the second tank needs to stand away the boss and the ranged casters/dps and pull the two adds as they spawn.
